Inner Gospel
Daily Bread — scripture, a short word, and something to carry into the day.
Whoever Walks In Integrity
Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.
Proverbs 10:9 (NIV)
The promise here is not that honesty makes you rich. It is that honesty makes you secure — and those are very different things.
The crooked path is often faster. That is what makes it a real temptation and not a cartoon one. But it comes with a hidden cost that never shows up on the invoice: you have to remember. You have to keep track of what you told which person. You have to manage the exposure. Some part of you is always braced.
The person walking in integrity is carrying less. Not because life is easier, but because there is nothing behind them that has to stay buried.
Build the kind of business, and the kind of life, where being found out would change nothing.

Morning Prayer
Lord, make me the same person in private that I claim to be in public. Where I have shaded the truth to protect myself, give me the courage to straighten it. I would rather walk slowly and securely than quickly and afraid. In Jesus' name, Amen.
